We had a wonderful day today at the clubshow in Waalwijk. This annual show had a nice entry of 18 tollers. Tango started in veteranclass and was rewarded with excellent by the Irish judge, he also became best male. Dawn was entered in breedersclass bitches; she won this class with 1 excellent and went on for the selection of best bitch which she won. Dawn had to compete against her father Tango for best of breed. In spite of his respectable age of 11 years this competition was won by Tango. Judge Hastings called him an eyecather in topcondition. Later in the ring of honour Tango participated in the final judging of all veterans and was selected as reserve BIS veteran. In group 8 he got a very nice 4th place.
But it wasn't done yet. In Waalwijk the champions of the previous year are invited for a parade and get an award. We were invited in this parade because Dawn became Dutch champion in 2013. She received a beautiful glass plaque from the chairman of the KV Waalwijk.
