Going to dogshows is one of our hobbies. We like the competition and it's a great way to see other tollers and meet their owners.

The puppies are born PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 23 January 2012 20:17

Tess' puppies were born on Friday January 20th. She got 5 males and 4 bitches, unfortunately a boy passed away in the first night. Tess took her time to give birth, the first one arrived at 7.00 AM and the last one at 3.00 PM. Everything went well but sadly feeding the puppies was very painful for Tess, probably because she had an overproduction of milk. This also made her very restless with the puppies who didn't get the chance to drink properly. After consultation of our vet we have decided to start bottle feeding the puppies and use Meagan as a surrogate mother. A hard decision because Tess really wanted to take of the puppies herself. Meagan has accepted the puppies right away and was washing them within minutes. The puppies are doing well; they like the bottle and their weights start to go up nicely. We have made an album for this litter that will be updated regularly.
